What time is the Evander Holyfield vs. Vitor Belfort fight?

Find out what time Evander Holyfield and Vitor Belfort will grace the ring for the main event.
Evander Holyfield and Vitor Belfort will put on a spectacle of sorts when they walk to the ring Saturday night in Hollywood, FL. The celebrity boxing match features Holyfield, now 58, taking on Vitor Belfort, a former UFC champion and longtime veteran of MMA.

Holyfield took the fight on a week’s notice after Oscar de La Hoya tested positive for COVID-19, which forced him to pull out.

The fight should run right around just before midnight ET, but could begin earlier depending on how the other undercard bouts shape out.

How did Evander Holyfield and Vitor Belfort get here?

The bout is Holyfield’s first action since 2011, as the boxer was best known for his legendary run in the 1980s and 1990s before finally hanging up the gloves for good.

As for Belfort, he enjoyed various stints in numerous promotions, along with earning the UFC light heavyweight title in 2004 and a UFC middleweight title shot in 2014.

Belfort has not competed in a boxing match in nearly 15 years, making it a unique comeback for the former Brazilian champion. Both men have fought some of the best that the sport has to offer in either arena, which should make for an interesting bout.

Holyfield retired from boxing with a 44-10-2 record, and was inducted into the IBF Hall of Fame in 2017. Although Belfort is not known for competing in a boxing ring, his hands resemble one of a talented fighter that partook in the sweet science.

Will Holyfield’s comeback turn out well or will Belfort rekindle his touch that made him a dangerous striker? The world will find out Saturday night.
