UConn heads to 13th straight Final Four, Arizona makes 1st

A familiar face and an unfamiliar one make up the first two teams to reach the Women’s Final Four in San Antonio.

After trailing Baylor by as many as 10 points in the second half, UConn engineered a 19-0 run to pull ahead and later held on to win 69-67 at the Alamodome. The Final Four appearance is UConn’s 13th straight under head coach Geno Auriemma.

In the nightcap, Arizona knocked off Indiana 66-53, led by 33 points from Aari McDonald.
