Travis Kelce gives NSFW description of Chiefs play, Patrick Mahomes on Manning broadcast

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce had an interesting way to describe how he ad-libs plays with Patrick Mahomes on ESPN’s Manning broadcast.

Someone at ESPN had a bright idea to put Peyton and Eli Manning on a special Monday Night Football broadcast and fans loved it. But the former quarterbacks weren’t the only ones making waves.

The Manning brothers had Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce on and were chatting to him about running unusual routes when he accidentally dropped a swear word live on the broadcast.

“Right before the play, I’ll look at Pat and just give him the eyes. Like, yeah I’m about to make some shit up right here,” Kelce said, immediately apologizing and correcting his slip up. The Mannings rolled with it.

In some way, it goes to show how cool the Manning broadcast could be with Kelce seemingly forgetting he was even on TV. He was just having a fun conversation with two other guys who know the game.

Of course, ESPN would much prefer there weren’t any more S-bombs on future broadcasts. No matter how entertaining Kelce is, they can’t have that.

Kelce had six catches for 76 yards and two touchdowns in Kansas City’s season-opening victory over the Browns. He continues to be a huge playmaker for Mahomes and the Chiefs’ offense. He just needs to remember to watch what he says when the cameras are rolling.
