Middleweight Sean Strickland is the fighter to watch at UFC Vegas 25 on Saturday. He is currently 22-3 and rides a three-fight win streak.
Sean Strickland has quickly become one of the UFC’s most underrated prospects, and on Saturday night from Las Vegas, he’ll look to continue his winning ways against long-time Octagon veteran, Krzysztof Jotko.
The bout will be contested at middleweight and will take place on the UFC Vegas 25 six-fight main card, which is scheduled to air on ESPN2 and ESPN+.
Strickland currently sits at 22-3 as a professional and has strung together three-straight finishes since his return to MMA in 2018. In that span, he has defeated the likes of Nordine Taleb, Jack Marshman, and most recently, Brendan Allen.
The Allen fight was Strickland’s first and only appearance of 2020, as he finished him by TKO in the second round.
Prior to the three-fight win streak, Strickland struggled to remain active within the promotion as he dealt with a multitude of injuries outside of the Octagon. Fully healthy, Srickland will look to maintain his finishing trend.
Strickland enters his seventh year with the UFC, having competed against current welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman, in April of 2017. He would only lose one more time before embarking on his streak of consecutive finishes.
Sean Strickland can win anywhere
With Strickland’s well-rounded skill set, he has showcased his ability to dictate how a fight will play out.
In his career thus far, Strickland has 10 TKO’s, four submissions, and eight decision wins. Since making his professional debut, Strickland has never lost back-to-back fights and always follows up with a win post-defeat.
Can Strickland keep the momentum going and earn yet another finish, along with a performance bonus? The world will soon find out.
