Ryan Spann, following his win over Misha Cirkunov, looks towards the top-10.
Ryan Spann may very well be on his way to a top-10 light heavyweight matchup, if not a top-10 ranking itself, as he made quick work of Misha Cirkunov, finishing him in just over a minute in the co-main event of UFC Vegas 21.
Quick night at the office for Ryan Spann, KOing Misha Cirkunov at UFC Vegas 21
Spann and Cirkunov both took to the center of the Octagon, throwing fairly heavy hands until the action was paused by way of an accidental low blow to Spann.
Upon the resumption of action, it didn’t take long before the fight was stopped for good. Spann dropped Cirkunov with a one-two, but Cirkunov survived the brief onslaught before Spann allowed Cirkunov back to the feet.
And it was there where Spann landed another shot to the temple, dropping Cirkunov again before the referee stepped in.
This win is a rebound for Spann after the former LFA champ’s eight-fight win streak was snapped at the hands of Johnny Walker in September.
