Paddy Pimblett teases UFC following yet another blockbuster finish (Video)

Paddy Pimblett anticipates a call from Dana White and the UFC after this victory.

There’s a lot of hype surrounding lightweight Paddy Pimblett, and his quick, impressive win at Cage Warriors 122 is certainly going to leave a lot of people talking — and perhaps get Pimblett a chance at the UFC if he has his way.

Pimblett took on Davide Martinez in the co-main event of the evening and swiftly got the job done.

Pimblett landed a high kick before swarming and pressuring Martinez with a flurry of strikes before taking him down and sinking in a rear-naked choke for the submission win.

Is Paddy Pimblett ready for the UFC after this Cage Warriors 122 highlight win?

Following the win, Pimblett said he wants UFC president Dana White to reach out and he looks forward to that call and the chance to jump up.

As noted by Petesy Carroll, however, Cage Warriors President Graham Boylan still has a desire to keep Pimblett around in the promotion and will be trying his best to make sure that happens.

This was Pimblett’s second straight victory, with his previous bout coming exactly one year ago in another quick, first-round finish — that time against Decky Dalton at Cage Warriors 113.

The former Cage Warriors featherweight champion is now 16-3, having previously amassed a 10-fight win streak that saw him earn victories over Julian Erosa, Teddy Violet and Ashleigh Grimshaw.
