Packers safety responds to MVP voter who called Aaron Rodgers a ‘jerk’

Green Bay Packers safety Adrian Amos responded to an NFL MVP voter who said that he will not be voting for quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Just before Super Bowl 56, it is likely that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will win the NFL MVP award for the second-consecutive season. But, he will not do so unanimously. Pro Football Weekly’s Hub Arkush revealed that he would not be voting for Rodgers, whom he called the “biggest jerk in the league.”

Packers safety Adrian Amos responded to Arkush’s comments, but not with words. Instead, he used two crying laughing emojis in a tweet.

The comments, linked above, have went viral throughout the NFL media world. Amos came across them and decided to share his thoughts on them.

Green Bay clinched home field advantage throughout the playoffs after they defeated the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night, bringing their record to 13- 3. One of the main reasons they were got in this position is due to the play of Rodgers, who looked as though he would not play for the team in 2021 based off the reports and drama throughout the offseason. Rodgers returned to the Packers, and are now in great position to reach the Super Bowl.

This year, Rodgers recorded 3,977 passing yards, 35 passing touchdowns and four interceptions on a 68.6 completion percentage. This is one year after Rodgers threw for 4,299 yards, 48 touchdowns and five interceptions last year, which netted him the third NFL MVP award of his career.

Rodgers may very well be adding a fourth MVP trophy to his mantle soon.
