The MMA universe didn’t seem to be too fond of Priscila Cachoeira after the lead-up to, and aftermath, of her loss to Gillian Robertson at UFC 269
If most, if not all, of MMA Twitter had their way with decisions about the UFC roster, Priscila Cachoeira may not be a UFC fighter come the start of next week.
Gillian Robertson defeated Cachoeira to kick off the preliminary card of UFC 269.
Cachoeira already was having a less-than-successful weekend by coming in three pounds over the non-title flyweight limit, forfeiting 30 percent of her purse in the process.
Reactions to Priscilla Cachoeira following loss to Gillian Robertson at UFC 269
Cachoeira didn’t help her case in the fight. Robertson was sinking in a rear-naked choke in the final minute of the opening round, when Cachoeira attempted to defend the submission by gouging Robertson’s eyes. The foul appeared to be intentional.
The submission wasn’t broken, however, and Cachoeira was submitted with one second left in the first.
UFC 269 took place on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2021, live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV. Follow along with FanSided MMA, who is on-site, for all your news and highlights.
