Lil Durk Rewinds Through Kanye West’s Most Notorious Moments in ‘Kanye Krazy’ Video

Lil Durk relives fellow Chicago rapper Kanye West’s most notorious career highlights in his “Kanye Krazy” music video, released Friday (Jan. 29).

The nostalgia-inducing clip, directed by Lyrical Lemonade’s Cole Bennett, recalls ‘Ye’s old music videos, including “Runaway,” with the flock of ballerinas swarming the white piano; “I Love It,” with the giant Roblox-resembling suits; “Bound 2,” with the scenic motorcycle ride; “Stronger,” with the white shutter shades; “Heartless,” with the animated city and cartoon Dropout Bear; and “Famous,” with the massive white bed filled with a scantily clad group.

Durk doesn’t put any of West’s past controversies to bed, either. He mimics how the rapper flipped out against radio personality Sway Calloway in 2013 and later grabs the mic from a Taylor Swift doppelgänger, spits his verse and shrugs his shoulders before passing the mic back to her — reminiscent of the 2009 VMAs stage-crash that began the Swift vs. West drama.

“Kanye Krazy” is featured on the deluxe version of Durk’s sixth album The Voice, which he released Friday. He added 12 more tracks to his 16-song set that peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 earlier this month following The Voice’s initial release in December.
