Lane Kiffin had the best response to Michael Wilbon’s horrendous take of him on PTI.
After being ripped to shreds on Pardon The Interruption by Michael Wilbon, Ole Miss football head coach Lane Kiffin responded perfectly to the ESPN’s host truly awful hot take over Twitter.
Wilbon straight up called Kiffin “a clown”. While Kiffin’s first three stabs at being a head coach did not go over well for him, he has totally reinvented himself in the last five years. Florida Atlantic won two Conference USA titles when he was the Owls head coach. Now in year two at Ole Miss, the Rebels are the No. 12 team in the country and have the Heisman front-runner in Matt Corral.
Kiffin tells Wilbon to stop being angry because “life is too short”. He also credited Wilbon for making a bold prediction that the No. 1 team in the country would beat Ole Miss at home.
Rat Poison: Lane Kiffin crushes Michael Wilbon for his awful hot take
Even if Ole Miss does not beat college football’s Evil Empire inside of their Death Star, Kiffin has the Rebels looking as good as they have been in years. Ole Miss should remain a fixture inside of the top 25 throughout the season, even if the Rebels do play in the hardest division in football. If they can win nine or 10 games, Ole Miss will play in its third New Year’s Six Bowl game to date.
Overall, Kiffin is having a blast coaching Ole Miss these days. He learned so much from his time being on Nick Saban’s coaching staff. Despite the many “ass chewings”, Kiffin is poised to make history on Saturday. Should Ole Miss beat Alabama, he will be the first former Saban assistant to beat him head-to-head on the football team. Thus far, Saban is a 23-0 vs. his former proteges.
Since getting fired on the tarmac, Kiffin has transformed himself as one heck of a football coach.
