“Peaches” is Bieber’s first since “Sorry” in early 2016.
For the first time since 2016, Justin Bieber is back at No. 1 on Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart as a lead artist.
“Peaches,” featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon, debuts atop the list dated April 3 with 30.6 million U.S. streams in the March 19-25 tracking period, according to MRC Data.
It’s Bieber’s fifth ruler on Streaming Songs, which began in 2013, but just his second as a lead artist, following “Sorry,” which led for eight weeks beginning in January 2016. Between then and “Peaches,” Bieber reigned on Streaming Songs three times, each time as a featured artist. Major Lazer’s “Cold Water,” on which Bieber was featured with Mo, crowned the tally for two weeks (August 2016), followed by DJ Khaled’s “I’m the One” (Bieber featured alongside Quavo, Chance the Rapper and Lil Wayne for one week [May 2017]).
