Drake Teases ‘Scary Hours’ | Billboard

Speculation is that it will be the follow-up to the first Scary Hours EP, which was released in January 2018 and featured the smash “God’s Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity.”

“God’s Plan” ended up on Drizzy’s fifth studio album, Scorpion, released later that year, which has fans speculating that it might be a similar precursor to his delayed next album. Drake announced Certified Lover Boy last year, promising a January 2021 release date, only to push it back after revealing in an Instagram story in January that “between surgery and rehab my energy has been dedicated to recovery,” seemingly referring to his recovery from a knee injury sustained last year.

In the same Story, Drake promised that Certified would, however, appear at some point this year. So far, he’s teased it out with last August’s “Laugh Now Cry Later” with Lil Durk and recently appeared on Drakeo The Ruler’s silky smooth “Talk to Me.”
