Davey Grant secured a Knockout victory in the second round of his main card bout against Johnathan Martinez.
Davey Grant extended his win streak to three straight fights and two straight knockouts with his second-round knockout of Johnathan Martinez. Grant had speed and timing on his side as he entered the second round of their UFC Vegas 21 bout from the UFC APEX.
The knockout came when he threw two straight right-left combinations with the second left-hand landing squarely on Martinez’s jaw knocking the fighter prone. Grant moved in to put an exclamation point on the fight but was waved off by the referee Chris Tognoni.
This marks the third straight victory for Grant and the second straight knockout. He previously knocked out Martin Day in the third round of his preliminary fight at UFC 251.
