McGregor sounds like he’ll be sidelined for an extended period of time after suffering the brutal leg injury at UFC 264, while Poirier will be the next title challenger to UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira.
While it’s officially recorded as a doctor’s stoppage win for Poirier, the possibility of a McGregor-Poirier 4 event in the future isn’t completely off the table.
