Country artist on the rise Andrew Beam is gearing up to release his debut album, Selma By Sundown. The new collection of music features fan-favorite track “You Should See The Other Guy,” and will be available on April 16. Raised in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Beam highlights his country roots that fans are sure to enjoy throughout his debut album.

We caught up with Andrew Beam during Country Radio Seminar’s (CRS) virtual event this year. Beam shared with us details on his new music ahead and much more!

Be sure to pick up Selma By Sundown starting April 16th at digital music outlets. Follow along on Andrew’s journey by visiting Official Website, and following him on Instagram, Facebook and Youtube.

Country Music Rocks (CMR): Tell us a little about your new collection of music in 2021, what can fans expect?
Andrew Beam: We are dropping our debut album “Selma by Sundown” on April 16th. Fans can expect a collection of songs spanning the gamut of solid country subjects. Everything from slow steel rides to rocking traditional groves, written and recorded in the Lowcountry of South Carolina.

CMR: Even though 2021 is not completely certain quite yet, what are some of your career goals throughout the year?
Andrew Beam: We are ready to hit the road as soon as restrictions lift. A Texas tour is really the main goal in the upcoming months, and our thoughts are with those affected by the recent snowstorm power outages. I have been working on a lot of new material aside from the songs on the upcoming album, and am looking forward to giving fans a first listen.

CMR: In addition to performing, what else did you miss most not being able to be out on the road last year during 2020?
Andrew Beam: I honestly miss meeting new people and extending our rock-solid network of fans as much as I miss the stage. Aside from playing, I enjoy getting to hang out with some of the best individuals in the most interesting places wherever the shows take us.

CMR: If everything goes as planned, and performing/touring resumes for this year, how would you best describe your shows/set for 2021?
Andrew Beam: Next Level. We have a solid set of new songs to showcase along with the album and some select covers that no one will expect.

CMR: As fans continue to get to know you, what is one thing you would like to convey to fans about you and your music?
Andrew Beam: It’s about as real as it gets…from who I am to the songs. I am definitely an outsider by taking a different path away from music city, but what you see and hear is as true as my twang.

CMR: Even though CRS is quite a bit different this year, we are still celebrating country radio which is such a staple to everyone in the country music community. What is one of your all time favorite country songs that you just can’t get enough of country radio?
Andrew Beam: “Anything but Mine” by Kenny Chesney
