A nasty eye poke brings Leon Edwards vs. Belal Muhammad to an early end.

The highly-anticipated return of Leon Edwards and an opportunity for Belal Muhammad to increase his stock on short notice all went awry when an eye poke in the second round brought their UFC Vegas 21 main event to a no-decision.

The eye poke left Muhammad in significant pain on the ground, and his eye appeared to be reddened and bloodied.

Edwards looked great early on, bringing the pressure to Muhammad and looking well all-around.

Edwards had already been warned for an eye poke earlier in the fight.

Edwards apologized after the bout, stating he would have rather lost than have the no-decision played out like it did.
