Alia Bhatt isn’t just an actor; she has also sung a couple of Hindi songs, such as “Samjhawan Unplugged” from Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya, and “Humsafar” from Badrinath Ki Dulhania. The actor, who recently became a mother to a daughter named Raha, believes that she has been blessed with a good voice so that she can sing lullabies to her. Alia is also thinking of recording the ‘innovative’ tunes that she sings to Raha, as composing music is coming ‘naturally’ to her.

Alia recently shared how she breaks into impromptu songs to ‘distract’ Raha. She told Bombay Times that she hears different lullabies and makes songs out of them to entertain her daughter. And she is so impressed with her compositions, she said, that she believes she can even become a music composer.

“I create random songs and discover new tunes to the extent that I need to start recording these tunes,” said Alia, while jokingly adding that she could become “a music composer at this rate.” She added, “I say this with utmost humility as I can’t compose songs, but it’s all coming to me naturally. You will see me breaking into innovative songs. It’s a revelation… what a mother can do to entertain her child.”

Recently, Alia’s husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor, had praised her parenting skills. In the rapid-fire round with Siddharth Kanan, Ranbir was asked if Alia was a better mother or wife and the actor said, “She’s amazing in both but I would say better mother.” Ranbir and Alia welcomed Raha in November 2022. Since then. the new parents have been enjoying their time with her. Ranbir recently also said that he is planning to take a break from work after finishing Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, because he wants to spend more time with Raha. Alia also said that motherhood has changed her a great deal. In an earlier interview to Variety, she had said, “It’s (motherhood) changed the way I look at everything. I just think my heart is a little bit more open than it was before, I don’t know what change that is going to bring about. But we’ll see.”
