Aaron Rodgers has COVID and will miss Week 9 game vs. Chiefs

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will miss Sunday’s game against the Chiefs after testing positive for COVID-19.

Rather shockingly, that’s the reality as the Packers prepare for a Week 9 showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. According to Adam Schefter from ESPN, Rodgers will miss Sunday’s game after testing positive for COVID-19.

Most NFL quarterbacks have played it close to the chest when it comes to revealing their vaccination status, but Rodgers was not among that group.

Back in August, Rodgers confirmed that he had received the COVID-19 vaccination ahead of the NFL season kicking off.
