With so many receivers to choose from in fantasy football, finding the right sleeper can be difficult. This week, these guys are all in a good position to have productive weeks in Week 6.
Another round of fantasy football kicked off last night with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers beating the Philadelphia Eagles. The remaining games begin Sunday, where many fantasy football managers will be in a tough spot while trying to decide which receiver to start.
We know the big names already, so we’re going to take a look at guys that offer sleeper appeal that can produce for your lineup this week.
10 wide receiver sleepers for fantasy football Week 6
10. Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions
We’re starting with the rookie wideout on Detroit. Amon-Ra St. Brown has recently stepped into a larger role with the injury to Quintez Cephus. In back-to-back games, St. Brown has had eight targets. Lions quarterback Jared Goff recently said he wants St. Brown more involved.
St. Brown is creeping up on starting flex territory, especially if he continues seeing increased targets in this Lions’ offense.
9. Donovan Peoples-Jones, Cleveland Browns
Since Jarvis Landry’s injury, it’s been a combination of Donovan Peoples-Jones and Odell Beckham Jr. sharing targets. Last week, Peoples-Jones was the beneficiary of a shootout with the Los Angeles Chargers, catching five-of-six targets for 70 yards.
Peoples-Jones will get looks again this week against Arizona just out of necessity. Baker Mayfield needs to throw to somebody, and he’s seemingly always had a connection with ‘DPJ.’ He’s worth a shot in deep PPR leagues and a worthy dart throw in daily lineups.
